[ When he speaks to the journal, Firo's voice is hurried and aggravated. This mess is all his fault, and even he's not dense enough to avoid realizing that. ]

Hey, has anybody seen a kid around here? He's about 12 or 13; messy brown hair, kinda short. He wears this blue.... dres-, uh, coat thing. If you see him, tell him to stay right where he is and I'll come find him.

[ There's another grumble of frustration, and he lowers his voice. ]

And if anybody touches him I'll make you pay, ya hear me?

[ Given his worried state (and Firo's general lack of intimidation skill) it doesn't sound as threatening as he would have wanted it to. ]

[ Firo has to admit that losing Seto once again pretty much takes the cake in failures he's had. This has to be the fourth or fifth time the kid has managed to slip out on Firo. Kind of sad for someone whose job used to rely on being observational.

He leaves Community Building 3 and runs toward the village, angrily berating himself under his breath. It's gotten into his head that something terrible could happen to Seto, and it'll be all his fault. Whether or not Seto gets hurt, Firo's not doing his job as brother too well. 

Perhaps he's run straight into you, as Firo tends to do. Or maybe you just want to know what's up with the weirdo running through town. ]

[Kazuma was crossing the bridge, heading towards the plaza when he hears someone's footstep. Someone running? By the time he realizes it's coming from behind him, Firo had already bumped right into him and knocks him down.]

-Ah! [thank god for the rails, or else he'd be in the water by now.]

[voice]

[12 or 13... messy brown hair... short... blue whatever...]

...Eh? Do you mean Seto..?

[immamartillo]

[ Far too late, Firo skids to a halt. He glances down at Kazuma and offers a hand to help him up. ]

Oh- Hey, sorry about that. You alright?

[ You practically ran the kid over, what do you think, Firo? ]

[voice]

[immamartillo]

[ Firo stumbles to a stop to check the journal. ]

Y-yeah, that's him! You know where he is?

[moezama]

Ah, yea...[After he stopped feeling dazed, he slowly takes Firo's hand and gets back up.]

I'm okay. [My back kinda stings, but it should be okay...] Where are you going in such a hurry?

[voice]

[...now she's starting to worry umm.]

Not really... I've been at home, so... Have you checked his apartment? [Which is incidentally next door but shhsh]

[immamartillo]

[ Oh, right. He's doing something important now, isn't he? Firo lets go of Kazuma and glances around, as if he expects Seto to magically appear. ]

Have you seen Seto?

[voice]

[immamartillo]

He's not there. He snuck out. You didn't see him walkin' by or anything?

[ What use are neighbors who mind their own business? ]

[moezama]

[...]

No. Did something happened? [You're worrying him a little here...]

[voice]

[Oh right. They live together. :'|a]

No, I don't think so.. Why did he sneak out though?

[Voice]

[...Firo, you're already not in Giles' good graces for your announcement over the kid's death. This? This isn't helping, and the former Watcher sounds pissed.]

What's happened to Seto?

[immamartillo]

[ He nods, sighing. ]

Yeah. He ran off. I've got no idea where to.

[voice]

[immamartillo]

Cabin fever, I guess. He's been doin' it a lot lately, ever since he came back.

[ Firo sounds slightly embarrassed to say it. It takes a kind of miraculous stupidity to be repeatedly caught off guard like this. ]

[Voice]

[immamartillo]

[ Firo's pretty angry with himself too, but he finds it difficult not to respond without some hostility of his own. ]

He snuck out. You haven't seen him?

[moezama]

[Ran off...? Why?]

Do you need some help finding him...?

[ The poor kid's probably just sick of Firo's attempts at mothering. ]

Yeah, that'd be nice. Do you have any idea where he woulda' gone?

[ It takes a moment for the answer to come, because, underneath his panic and worry, Firo's kind of embarrassed by this. ]

About half an hour ago, I think. That's when he last said anything.

...how do you know he wasn't kidnapped?

I don't have eyes in the back of my head.

[ He pauses and sighs angrily. ]

Because I didn't hear a struggle, okay? I'm not stupid enough to not know if somebody breaks in.

...no, I haven't seen him. [A thought strikes, and then:] If he's not back by nightfall, I'll be a bit more help.

Why nightfall?

[ If Seto's really in trouble, wouldn't the damage be done by then? ]

Because then I will be able to fly, and capable of covering the ground outside the village far more quickly than any of you even if you left right now.

Yeah, okay. But he'll be found by then.
