Two [Action/ Accidental Voice]
[ Despite the rain, Firo wants to be outside and stretch his legs. Through the whole walk from the community building to the village plaza Firo managed to resist the urge to put his mask on. He plops down on the fountain, setting the journal next to him and toying with the mask. Maybe a distraction from the strange behavior of the moon would be nice, and for some reason he feels like the mask will help. It seems stupid, but there can't be any harm in it. And so he puts it on, only to find a few moments later that it won't come off.
As Firo struggles with his mask, the journal gets knocked off the fountain. It opens and begins recording the unhappy scene of its own accord.
Tugging at the mask, Firo feels his annoyance building up until finally...
BOOM.
A few moments later, Firo's back in one piece, startled but otherwise fine. He blinks and looks around, wondering if he imagined all that. Again he tries to remove the mask, cursing under his breath when it refuses to budge.
The cycle repeats: the magic of the blast mask followed by an even more angered and confused Firo reappearing. With a growl of frustration he tries to tear the mask off once more. ]
This is stupid!
[ And there he goes again. ]

[Prior to wearing the blast mask] Lemme know if this works for ya
Jet lies in wait silent; patient. The Garo knows he need only wait for his target to make the inevitable move out of the rain into his abandoned alcove. He must test this mark's worth and courage, and he'll maintain his hidden location for as long as it takes for that to happen.]
[Prior to wearing the blast mask] This works great! :)
Spine prickling with unease, Firo feels in his jacket for his knife and looks over his shoulder. Over the years he's learned to sort of sense trouble, and he's pretty sure he can sense it right now. ]
[Prior to wearing the blast mask] Sweet XD
"Luceti is a dangerous place. Allow me to test your mettle, mortal."
[Prior to wearing the blast mask]
Jet's attire reminds him of a costume Isaac and Miria would wear, that, combined with the fact he hasn't injured Firo yet leaves Firo just as confused as he is wary. As such, he's not as eloquent as the one confronting him. ]
...What?
[Prior to wearing the blast mask]
The shrouded figure takes a few steps back, withdrawing both hookswords to peek out beneath his ragged sleeves. He points the beveled end of one curved sword in Firo's direction in challenge. Prepare yourself, Firo, if you don't fight he won't purposely miss this next swipe.
Jet gives charge; aiming a diagonal slash this time straight for Firo's left shoulder]
[Prior to wearing the blast mask]
[ Today just keeps getting worse for Firo. He growls as he whips his knife toward the hooksword to block the strike. The two strange weapons make him wary of getting too far into range, so he tries to fling the blocked hooksword away before attempting to hit Jet in the stomach with a side kick. Whether or not it hits, he'll follow it up by slipping out of range. ]
[Prior to wearing the blast mask]
[He cocks his head in judgemental silence. Your move this time, opponent- but don't even think about running.]
[Prior to wearing the blast mask]
[ He's not about to run; he can't back away from a fight and he has the feeling this guy could just chase him down anyway. When he sees Jet is not about to attack yet, he moves in for a strike.
Firo leads with his knife feinting with a quick and shallow jab- not meant to hit- at the side of Jet's face and then rapidly drawing it back to try and catch Jet's hand with the hilt of his knife. ]
[Prior to wearing the blast mask]
[The assailant makes to grab Firo's clothing, the orientation of his hookswords already reversed to reveal their dagger edged hilts intent to stab.
The small shard of wood falling causes the Garo to pause uncertainly.]

Ya think that's stupid? At least ya ain't stuck with this! [He'd prefer to not go outdoors all that much when he's stuck like this, but he needs a lot more pie than usual. All of this dancing is making him lose weight, and he can't allow that to happen.]
[Action]
You mean you can't stop.... movin' like that?
[ He wouldn't exactly call it dancing. ]

[ He takes a step closer to Blackbeard and holds his hand out. ]
I can try pryin' it off for you, if you want.
[Action]
Huh? ...Zehahahahahahahaha! Go ahead, kid, but if I can't yank the damn thing off, there's no way in hell that you can!
[Action]
[ Careful, Firo... He manages to keep from exploding this time, but he realizes he'll have to keep his emotions in check if he wants to stay in one piece. Exhaling deeply he tilts his head questioningly to one side. Granted this guy definitely looks stronger than Firo does, but Firo takes doubt in his strength as an insult. ]
And what makes you so sure of that?
[Action]
Well, fer starters, look at ya! Yer a scrawny midget! [Then again, just about everybody here is short compared to Blackbeard - he's about eleven feet tall.]
[Action]
Don't call me-
[ And if Blackbeard doesn't move quickly he may get hit by the blast as the mask reacts to Firo's emotions once again. ]

Surprisingly, no. At least it doesn't feel that way.
