[After having a close friend return home a few weeks ago, Firo's been largely keeping to himself. He was aware of the danger of losing friends in Luceti, but it always seemed abstract and alien until it actually happened.

It's boredom that finally prompts him to address the network. That and the concern that if he doesn't keep using his skills he'll be near useless when he gets back home. Why not kill two birds with one stone?]

Does anybody here wanna play cards? Any kinda game is fine, or even if you just wanna learn. Most of 'em aren't that hard to pick up and I don't mind teachin' anyone.

[His tone suddenly becomes less light and takes a turn for the grouchier.]

But if you're gonna cheat, save it. I'll know.

[He wasn't put in charge of a Family casino for nothing.]

[Soon after he makes his message, Firo will be rummaging through the item shop for a few packs of cards, carefully going through each one he finds to make sure they're complete. Then he'll linger a little while by the art supplies to pick up some markers.

...No, he is not going to be using them to mark the cards.]

Would you wanna try and help me put it together?

Huh? [Points to himself] You'd actually want my help with doing something like that?

[He raises an eyebrow as he considers his answer.]

Well, why not? You seemed like you were interested. Is there some reason I shouldn't want your help?

[Sure, Crow's been annoying a few times, but he can't be that bad if Seto's friends with him.]

[Actually, he's just surprised--Seto is his only friend (or was?), and he's not used to other people actually wanting his help or wanting to be friends with him or things like that. But he's quick to cover his surprise.]

No--in fact, you should be grateful for the great Crow-sama to consider helping you out! [oh my god, Crow pls]

[Firo stares at him, raising an eyebrow.]

Crow...sama?

That's right--you know, meaning "great and cool" and other stuff like that? After all, that's what someone as awesome as I can be called as well. [It's probably the only japanese honorific he would ever use, and of course it would be the arrogant one used to regard himself as. :|]

...No, I didn't know that.

[He's wondering if that's just a word Crow made up--he wouldn't put it past him.]

But whatever you say. So you will help, "great" Crow?

[We totally did not make that word up--we just saw it written down somewhere and read that it was a word used for cool people!]

Well, since you asked so nicely, I guess I can consider offering my help for something like that. [But the second it stops being fun, we are gonna drop it to do something else, just FYI]

[Firo wonders if asking Crow was a bad idea, but he doesn't want to jeopardize their cordiality by rescinding his offer. He settles for a bit of sarcasm.]

Guess I just gotta hope you won't be too busy with your many important duties, right?

[and your sarcasm appears to have gone over his head]

Exactly, so you should probably say something in advance and I'll try to make time for something like that. [key word here is "try"...which probably requires very little effort at all anyway]

What kinda stuff do you need?

[Is it the kind of stuff that can be easily found ~~like what we find in the garbage~~ or...]

More cards, probably. Poker chips if we could find any, and tables to actually play on.

So other than "poker chips" or whatever, everything else should be easy to find.

[Can't be that hard to just get more cards and tables...]

Should be. I'd be surprised if any poker chips wound up here, so we might have to improvise. Somehow.

[No offense, but he can't see the screws holding up.]

[Well, Crow would have been tempted to steal back all the screws anyway.]
