7th Hat Flip [Voice/Action]
[Voice]
[After having a close friend return home a few weeks ago, Firo's been largely keeping to himself. He was aware of the danger of losing friends in Luceti, but it always seemed abstract and alien until it actually happened.
It's boredom that finally prompts him to address the network. That and the concern that if he doesn't keep using his skills he'll be near useless when he gets back home. Why not kill two birds with one stone?]
Does anybody here wanna play cards? Any kinda game is fine, or even if you just wanna learn. Most of 'em aren't that hard to pick up and I don't mind teachin' anyone.
[His tone suddenly becomes less light and takes a turn for the grouchier.]
But if you're gonna cheat, save it. I'll know.
[He wasn't put in charge of a Family casino for nothing.]
[Action]
[Soon after he makes his message, Firo will be rummaging through the item shop for a few packs of cards, carefully going through each one he finds to make sure they're complete. Then he'll linger a little while by the art supplies to pick up some markers.
...No, he is not going to be using them to mark the cards.]

There's another game called "clock solitaire," that works a little differently. It's not as popular because it relies more on how the cards fall than skill.

[He cranes his neck to watch Crow move the cards.]
Aside from that one, I don't know too many other one-player games. Too bad Keith's not here.

action!
[No, no, why would you ask that? Now he'll never shut up!]
He's great at cards--he pretty much always wins at any game, even against me or his brothers or Claire. Of course, he cheats a lot, too. One time he-
[He notices that Crow's stalled, and so his rambling comes to a premature halt. He reaches over and points to the leftover cards at the top.]
Once you get stuck you can start drawin' cards from this deck. You can draw 'em one at a time, but most people go by threes to make it a bit harder.
action!
...Oh. [He draws a card, looks at it, but it looks like he can't use this one yet so he's drawing another card or two, moving the third card drawn where it seems to be able to go.]
action!
Yeah. You can keep cyclin' around the deck if you still need cards. If you're still stuck, then you gotta give up and start over.
action!
[Okay, then we'll just have to make sure we don't get stuck...]
action!
How're you doin with this game?
action!
[That may or may not involve cheating anyway, but so far he seems to not have to cheat or anything like that yet as he flips over a card, finding an ace of spades...these are supposed to be moved up to the top, right?]
action!
[Firo's leaning over the table now to better his backseat card-playing abilities.]
You remember where that goes, right?
action!
[Crow what are you talking about you're wrong all the time. And of course we know where this card goes, it goes...uh, right here at the top. Yeah.]
action!
What makes you think that? I thought you didn't play much.
action!
[...Crow you were the only one who was playing any kinds of games back in your world, of course you'd think you were the best...]
action!
[...Why Firo thinks he has any sort of ability in trash talking is a mystery.]
action!
No way--besides, they aren't all that interesting once you actually catch them sometimes. [Wait just now did he think you meant literally fishing--] I meant stuff like running and climbing games, or hiding and seeking kind of games where you have to make sure you don't get caught first.
[And that might have been a butchered description of hide and go seek, or tag...]
action!
[It takes him a little while to realize that Crow's moved past card games.]
Oh, you mean other kinds a' games. Like kid games.
action!
[Sure Crow, sure....]
action!
[It'd still be fun now, probably, but Firo has to at least pretend to be an adult.]
action!
[Granted, you are taller than us, maybe even older, but you don't seem like that old of an "adult" to us...]
action!
Because I'm not!
action!
You totally are!
action!
[Just being older doesn't mean more mature, which Firo is proving right now.]
action!
action!
I'm 22.
