6th Hat Flip [Accidental Video/Action]
[Somewhere in Luceti, Firo's draped over a tree branch, asleep and freshly returned from his mallynapping. He looks a little worse for the wear, but he's out of the woods (figuratively) now, isn't he?
Unfortunately, gravity's not going to give him a break today, and as soon as he shifts in his sleep Firo goes tumbling to the ground. How's that for a wake up call?
It's not far of a fall, but Firo's incredibly ungraceful landing doesn't do him any favors. There's a crunching sound as he hits the ground, twisted around so that he lands on his left hand.]
Ah-! Ow-! Shit!
[Firo stays lying like that for a moment: both in the process of waking up and cursing everything from the malnosso to the tree- whatever he can blame for this situation. Then, with some reluctance, he rolls onto his side and stares at his hand with a mixture of pain and consternation. Unlike what he's become used to over the past few years, it stays stubbornly broken. His eyes widen. This is not how it's supposed to work...]
What? Why isn't it-?
[He tries to flex his fingers and winces; it's then that he catches a glimpse of his journal lying open nearby. Great. Of course it had to show off one of his less dignified moments.]
Damnit... Are you kiddin' me?
[Sighing and gritting his teeth against the pain, he pulls himself into a sitting position. Arms crossed over his chest, he takes a deep breath and tries to recover some aplomb.]
So... Guess I'm back. Screw this place.
[ooc: Firo's back from being mallynapped and is now going to be without his immortality for a while. After a few weeks it'll return to its normal Luceti dampened state.]

[She holds her hands apart a bit. Think kitten-sized or thereabouts.
I can't find where the picture went.][Action]
[He imitates her movements as he tries to visualize Luminair. None of the stories he's read have ever mentioned a dragon that small--probably because it wouldn't make a very scary antagonist.]
Are you sure you're not talkin' about a frog or somethin'?
[Action]
[Do frogs have scales?]
[Action]
[He shrugs.]
I've just never really heard of a dragon that small. Is it a baby or something'?
[But then, she's more of an expert than he is.]
[Action]
Hmm.... I think so. He's grown a little bit since he came here.
[Action]
[Oh. Great.]
Where's somebody even get a baby dragon?
[Action]
Oh, it was a present from Ginia.
[But where did she get him from?]
[Action]
You know, when I think about givin' people presents, a dragon isn't the first thing that comes to mind.
[Action]
Isn't it?
[Action]
It's gotta be pretty hard to take care of, right? 'Specially if it keeps growin'. Besides, whenever dragons show up in stories it never goes well for anybody.
[He knows more about dragon lore than he'd like, due to a couple of his friends.]
[Action]
It doesn't?
[But Luminair is so nice....]
[Action]
Well, from what I've heard.
[Isaac and Miria did say that "the fate of a dragon is to be killed by humans. Then again, that's Isaac and Miria.]
...How many people know about this thing?
[Action]
[Helios isn't exactly secretive about him, after all.]
[Action]
Ya might wanna keep quiet about it, anyway.

[ooc: Hey, is it alright if I tag your new post? I don't want to clog up your inbox or something so I thought I'd ask first.]
[Action]
[OOC: Please do! I often have three or four threads on the go with the same person, and I kind of adore Firo, so you're definitely not going to be clogging my inbox. ♥]
[Action]
[ooc: Thank you so much! I love threading with Grune. <3]
[Action]
[OOC: No, thank you! I love threading with Firo, so more opportunities = excellent. ♥]
[Action]
Toothless? He doesn't sound like he'd be scary at all.
[Just wait until you see him, Firo.]
[Action]
[Grune is not helping things here.]
[Action]
[Then he couldn't eat anybody! ...Unless he swallows them whole.]
[Action]
[...What kind of answer is that?]
[Action]
[He's too busy gaping at her to notice the tree in front of him until he nearly walks into it.]
[Action]
Oh, my. Are you all right?
