6th Hat Flip [Accidental Video/Action]
[Somewhere in Luceti, Firo's draped over a tree branch, asleep and freshly returned from his mallynapping. He looks a little worse for the wear, but he's out of the woods (figuratively) now, isn't he?
Unfortunately, gravity's not going to give him a break today, and as soon as he shifts in his sleep Firo goes tumbling to the ground. How's that for a wake up call?
It's not far of a fall, but Firo's incredibly ungraceful landing doesn't do him any favors. There's a crunching sound as he hits the ground, twisted around so that he lands on his left hand.]
Ah-! Ow-! Shit!
[Firo stays lying like that for a moment: both in the process of waking up and cursing everything from the malnosso to the tree- whatever he can blame for this situation. Then, with some reluctance, he rolls onto his side and stares at his hand with a mixture of pain and consternation. Unlike what he's become used to over the past few years, it stays stubbornly broken. His eyes widen. This is not how it's supposed to work...]
What? Why isn't it-?
[He tries to flex his fingers and winces; it's then that he catches a glimpse of his journal lying open nearby. Great. Of course it had to show off one of his less dignified moments.]
Damnit... Are you kiddin' me?
[Sighing and gritting his teeth against the pain, he pulls himself into a sitting position. Arms crossed over his chest, he takes a deep breath and tries to recover some aplomb.]
So... Guess I'm back. Screw this place.
[ooc: Firo's back from being mallynapped and is now going to be without his immortality for a while. After a few weeks it'll return to its normal Luceti dampened state.]

That's awfully charitable way to put it.
[He's not going to argue, though.]
Which way was your house, again?
[Being out of the village for so long has him a bit confused with directions. He doesn't want to make an incorrect guess and make Grune walk farther than necessary.]
...This is going to end well.]
Right. I shoulda' known that. It's like I can't think straight today.
[It might have something to do with being mallynapped for a week and falling out of a tree. Not that his brain is particularly accustomed to being used.]
[And she keeps wandering in the same direction...more or less.]
[He'll glance over at her every so often to make sure they're on the same track.]
[This is a good idea, because then he might notice that she's beginning to drift in a distinctly different direction.]
[He stops when he notices that they've started to wander in different directions.]
Uh, wait. Is it that way?
[...Yeah, they're lost.]
[He looks around anxiously, there's an awful lot of trees out here and they all look the same to Firo.]
So, uh... Which way should we go?
[Oh dear.]
...You don't know? But you live there!
[But she isn't there now....]
[Somewhat helpful?]
[Together these brilliant minds could figure it out! Or get themselves even more lost.]
[Go Team Smarts.]
[It's a whole lot cleaner than the Hudson, at least.]
Um... Do you have any idea where it might be from here?
Hmm.... Maybe it's this way.
[How much do you want to bet it's a completely random direction that she's indicating?]
You think so? Is there some sorta trick to figurin' it out?
[There always seems to be, at least in storybooks. Too bad Firo never really bothered to pay attention.]
[...]
[Okay, maybe he shouldn't be trusting her to get them out of the woods.
He sighs and runs a hand through his hair.]
First thing when we get outta this place, I'm gettin' you a map.
[She just loves getting presents!]
N-no, I just don't want you gettin' lost. Didn't you hear that there's monsters and stuff out there?
[Which means they should probably try to find a way out. Since he doesn't have any better ideas, Firo takes a few steps in the direction Grune indicated.]
[...Action]
Are there?
[...Action] ...Oh. Oops.
[He glances back and slows his pace.]
[Action] Go us. XD
[Action] I think we win a record for not noticing that for so long
[Action] We probably beat even my previous record, which was pretty long!
